I have been Teaching Pilates for over 18 years in West Lothian, and have a level 3 Yoga Teacher training with the Energywise Academy. I enjoy Yoga and Pilates equally and see how they complement each other so well within a movement practice, I also study with Katy Bowman's Nutritious Movement centre and teach Restorative Exercise , and do regular alignment and movement CPD with them.I attended a Science of ageing 2 day work shop in March 2019 with

I completed the One Year Mindfulness training with the Mindfulness Association, and the foundation course in compassion training.
Mindfulness training teaches us to be present in the moment with what is happening, whether pleasant or difficult. We Learn to work with distraction, self acceptance, compassion for others and self compassion.
I have a daily meditation practice, both a formal sitting meditation and informal, I try to incorporate Mindfulness in all aspects of my life. Walking Mindfully and moving mindfully are natural easy ways of bringing awareness into your life without having to make extra time available. Just being more mindful as you go along in life, or noticing when you are on autopilot, and not being mindful is the start of your Mindfulness journey.
I am currently studying to teach the 8 week Mindfulness course, and will set up some teaching groups in April 2019
